JOIN THE FEDERATION OF STATES
FEDERATION TO RESTORE THE CONFEDERACY We need your support if you believe in the dream and goal of the Restoration of the Confederacy. President Jefferson Davis, although captured and imprisoned by Union troops, never surrendered the government of the Confederate States of America. President Jefferson Davis was eventually freed since the U.S. Supreme Court refused to support charges of treason against him for his part in the secessionist government of the South which was patterned after the original Confederacy founded by our founding fathers in 1778 under the Articles of Confederation, but whose ratified Constitution is a near replica of the U.S. Constitution. General Robert E. Lee only surrendered the North Virginia Army to the Northern Army in 1865. Meanwhile, several other Confederate Generals continued the battle which lasted about 18 months longer in Texas. General Lee had no authority over the government of the Confederate States of America. Under Union occupation, the various States who had seceded from the Union to form the Confederate States of America, had Union legislation forced upon them. In several cases Washington simply replaced the state Governor and Legislature with Federal appointees in order to force involuntary acts of re-admission to the Union upon the people of those States. There were a few States whose population was leaning towards the Confederacy, but who were prevented from seceding by political and military moves by Union forces who overran their States prior to their opportunity for free and independent choice of government. It is the position of the Federation of States that those States who did legally secede from the Union (U.S.A.) in 1861 to join the Confederate States of America (C.S.A.) had every right as free people to severe their ties with an oppressive regime in the North and establish for themselves their own free, State''s Rights government as intended by the founding fathers. It is further the position of the Federation of States that those C.S.A. States who were coerced and forced to re-join the Union did so involuntarily and therefore that action was and is null and void by law. The Federation of States does recognize, however, the reality of Federal Union military, economic and political occupation of those Southern States and the effects of over thirteen decades of this illegal occupation under ""reconstruction"" wherein even the educational, and to some extent, the religious freedoms of the people of the South have been controlled so that today those Southern states seem to be normal and willing members of the Union, albeit having been involuntary and by the force of invasion with arms. Regardless of the damage brought upon us by this Union domination and reconstruction, the Federation of States proclaims that the government of the Confederate States of America still exists legally as does its ratified Constitution, but that it is in a dormant stage. We do not believe however that various individuals, by their own proclamation, may legitimately claim to be the C.S.A. government. Rather, we believe that all that is necessary for Confederate Americans to do is to organize to spread the message and maintain our heritage and insist upon our sovereign rights as citizens of our respective States to work to restore the Confederate States of America as an active, free and independent government. This must be done by gaining political seats in the legislatures and governors offices of the various Southern States or by public referendum in those States to REAFFIRM THEIR ALLEGIANCE TO THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA and renounce their illegal Statehood binding with the Union (U.S.A.). Each of these States would then send delegates to RESTORE the Government of the Confederate States of America. Does this goal excite you to the great mission of liberation, independence and freedom through a Restored C.S.A? If so, please join the Federation of States and lend the South a hand. We have need for members from all over the world, not just the South. You will be able to assist in this great goal which, by the way, will not be supportive of the so-called New World Order or the Empire of the Federal Government of the United States.
