SONS OF CONFEDERATE VETERANS (SCV) HAS BEEN

AND IS A GREAT ORGANIZATION TODAY

By in large, the SCV is a great organization in which every patriotic Confederate with ancestors who in the Confederate Armed Forces should join. Many entire Camps are very sincerely Confederate.

There are countless real Confederates in most SCV Camps. Some leave weak milk toast Camps to join more active and more genuinely Confederate Camps.

We applaud those Camps that have the courage not to display the flag of the Federal Union (present Stars and Stripes) and certainly not to pledge allegiance to the flag* or to the nation of the United States.

*Hundreds of Confederate soldiers were shot after surrendering when they refused to pledge allegiance to the Union. If they did pledge allegiance they were often paroled and sent home.

We applaud those Camps that actually teach that we are under the illegal military, economic and civil occupation of the Federal Union of the United States (U.S.A.). We applaud those Camps who speak of the possibility of the resurrection and restoration of the Confederate States of America which was never surrendered by Jefferson Davis. No peace treaty was ever signed between the Federal Union of the United States and the Confederate States of America and illegal military, social, civic and educational (reconstructionist) occupation of the Confederate States of America continues to this day as we are still in a State of War which now can only be cured by the withdrawal of Federal Union forces, courts and agents from our Southern Nation.. After such a withdrawal the resurrection of our own government of the C.S.A. could occur who then could sign a peace treaty with the United States.

We encourage true Confederates within the various Camps of the SCV to seek leaders in their Camps and Divisions who are true and tested Confederates as well and who avoid appeasement of our Confederate values. We are patriotic Confederate Americans who, even though we want our Southern Nation back, are Americans nevertheless just as Canadians are Americans and allies of the United States. We see the Confederate States of America likewise being allies of Canada and the United States in just causes and defense.

The cleansing of the SCV of False, Fake, Counterfeit and/or Quasi Confederates who are lukewarm about true Confederate values will be slow and sometimes painful, but true and real Confederates know it must occur. Again, read about Gideon in the Old Testament. In Judges 7:1-22, in particular, and Judges 8:10 we learn some lessons from Gideon.

The Federation of States continues to support correct Confederate activities and many of our leaders are members of the SCV. We delight in those Camps full of True Confederates. The fake, quasi group should just go home or join the Sons of Union Veterans.
