JOYCE APPOINTED TO A LOCAL OFFICE

July 15, 2004

Dennis Joyce a local Confederate American Patriot and retired serviceman has been appointed to the Lancaster (TX) Airport Commission. Lancaster sent out a mailer and I responded. I was interviewed by the City Council on the 15th. Everyone, before me, had about 5 minutes before the Council. They held me for over 30 minutes.

Although this is a non-paid position, it gains me name recognition among the community leadership and the community itself. It is a small step, politically, but it is a step and every step forward we take now is one less we have to take later. Joyce also serves as the elected Chairman of the Southern Independence Party of Texas.

Having Confederates in local office of any sort can produce surprising results where we live. On the other hand having Federalists or Unionists in those offices can bring us regular dosages of grief as they see nothing wrong with stamping out our heritage, our culture, especially our Confederate flags, but also even our God and the Ten Commandments.

Every town or city has Boards and Commissions. Check out how to get on them and follow up.
